Behind the Scenes
Supporting artists and creating meaningful employment is an integral part of JacarandaStyle’s mission.
Whether holding a degree in Fine Arts or possessing a skill that has been handed down through generations, like Ndebele beadwork, the artisans who produce our collection are masters of their craft.
White “spots” on our delightful Guinea Fowl blue and white ceramics are meticulously applied for a realistic and tactile effect. Copper inlays enhance our unique hand-forged brass and silver plate serving accessories. Thousands of ostrich eggshell shards are pieced together to create our mosaic picture frames, bangles and bowls. Beads are hand applied to our charming Ndebele dolls and hand-strung on our colorful necklaces. Cowrie shells form a “necklace” on our contemporary suede pots. Every object is created with tremendous pride to ensure that each unique home accent and gift you choose will be cherished.
